The mother's narration about her childcare serves to describe the general process of mothers' adaptation to living with their handicapped children and the substance and significance of \"childcare\". She related it was actually hard for her to switch from living in a world without disability to one with disability. The difficulty was due to several barriers against her inexperienced living with disability.
