内容記述 This study is focused on the psychological stresses of today's school children. 303 children were conducted an investigation about the stresses on the school life and the family life, including the neighborhood life. The purposes of this study are to analyze children's stresses, and to compare those between children live in urban and local cities.
By the factor analysis, four factors were found as follows. These were items in regard to 1) the learnings and results at school, 2) the relationships with friends or teachers, 3) the relationships with parents and siblings, and 4) the human relationships with families and neighburhoods, including playing friends. Tree factors were found in the school life. These were the stresses, such as, in regard to 1) the learnings, 2) the relationships to the friends, and 3) the social recognitions. In the family ife, there were also three factors, that is, the stresses regarding 1) the human relationships with families, 2) the fundamental habits, 3) the playing problems such as friends, times and spaces, kinds of games.
There were significant differences between boys' and girls' stresses. In general, girls felt more stresses than boys. Also, there were significant developmental changes between the stresses of 4th- and 6th- grade's children. Both on boys and girls, the 5th grade is like as the turning point for many psychological factors.
